Unbelievable. That is all that comes to mind when I see the pictures of my fellow Albertan’s. My heart aches for the families, the business, the pets, the town.The next immediate emotion is how can I help? As I am sure a lot of you are asking, I did some research and here are the top 6 best ways!!
Please understand cash donations go a long way especially for Red Cross and the Food Bank because they get massive discounts when buying staples where we as don’t so a dollar to them will go a lot longer than us buying items.
How YOU can help!

2) Edmonton’s Food Bank is accepting toilet paper, water, non-perishable food, toiletries and they are located at 11508 120 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T5G 2Y2 and of course Monetary Donations!
3) Edmonton Emergency Relief Services Society is in desperate need of Diapers, Baby wipes, NEW Pillows, NEW Toiletries, & NEW Socks & Underwear for those affected by the Fort McMurray Fire! They are located at 10255 – 104 Street, Edmonton, AB.
4) The West Jet team is handing evacuees items when they come off the plane, you can either bring items to the 3T hangar ( Canadian North Executive Flight Center) 731 – 52 Avenue East, Nisku, T9E 0V4. or you can send money to my sister rachaelafontaine@gmail.com as she will be grabbing the below items and handing them to evacuees.
5) Bring the below items to KINGSWAY TOYOTA at 12820 97 Street ASK FOR AARON LAFONTAINE as I will be collecting these items over the next few days and I will make sure they get to the Food Bank, EERSS and the West Jet Team.
